Your Guide to Spring Break RVing
Your Guide to Spring Break RVing
Spring break is almost here and we can’t wait to hit the road! If you’re RVing this season, here are our tips for a fun and comfortable adventure.
Be weather-wise
Shoulder season camping is all about being prepared for the unexpected changes in weather. Stock the RV with extra blankets, a backup heat source and warm bedding for the chilly evenings.
Check the spring road conditions
If you’re heading for the mountains, be ready for snow. Spring at higher elevations or more northern locations can still look a lot like winter.
Head south for warmer weather
Village RV is part of the Route 66 dealership network in the United States, so if something needs fixing on the way south you get priority emergency service.
Plan for off-the-grid camping
Some campgrounds stay open year round with reduced amenities off season. Check what hookups and services are available, and whether firewood is.
Pack for rainy days
Spring RVing may mean less than ideal weather. Bring board games and puzzles, and extra tarps so you can still be outside.
